History:

Within the Gohonzon, a revered mandala in Japanese Buddhism, the Dairokuten-no Maou or the Demon King of the Sixth Heaven symbolizes the lust for power and the desires to attain worldly goals. As the demon king with a great number of minions under his wing, the Maou works to tempt Buddhists from practicing the teachings of Buddha.

History:

Kanzeon is the Japanese name given to the Chinese goddess of mercy and compassion, Guan Yin. According to the teaching of Buddhism, she orginated from the Bodhisattva Avalokiteśvara, a male figure, before becoming a deity. Her being is mostly pictured as a beautiful woman, wearing a white robe and carrying the jar of the pure water and a willow branch. In her meditation, she attempted to aid the ones who need her, but with only two hands at possession, she was unable to do it, until Amitabha Budha, her spiritual teacher gave her a thousand arms, so that she could complete her task. Guan Yin is very popular in East Asia region that she received different names. Her origin and history in each region also differ the one from another.

Yamato Takeru, the Brave of Yamato, is the title given to a legendary prince named Ōsu, who defeated his enemies valiantly in his father's name. When he died, his spirit turned into a great white bird, hence the appearance of the persona.

Suzuka Gozen (鈴鹿御前, [すずかごぜん], Suzuka Gozen) is a legendary figure prominent in Japanese folktales of the Kamakura period. Her appearances also differ from one legend to another - some regarded her an ogress, a female bandit and as far as a goddess - and even her physical appearance varies.

Take-mikazuchi is Kanji Tatsumi's initial Persona. It differs from the regular incarnations, and resembles a large black robot with skeletal designs. It holds a lightning bolt which it uses to cast Zio magic by shattering, or as a typical sword.
History:
One of the sons of Okuninushi. When Amatsukamis decided to increase their influence on the earth, they sent Takemikazuchi to conquer Takeminakata. They had the first sumo match which Takemikazuchi won. Takeminakata then had his arms been cut and fled to Lake Suwa, where he married to Suwa goddess, Yasakatome and became the guardian god.

Himiko is the initial Persona of Rise Kujikawa, once she accepts the truth by embracing her shadow self as a part of her own in Marukyu Striptease. Himiko's head appears as a large satellite and on her hands she holds a head device, resembling a torch that allows Rise to find a specific location of a person in the Midnight Channel. Overall she is depicted to be a woman wearing a white gown. She is an information gathering Persona, similar to Lucia and Juno in Persona 3 and therefore does not participate actively in battles, even though her stats are shown to be visible. She will still gain level normally like other Personas, enabling her to acquire new supportive abilities.
History:
Himiko (卑弥呼) was an obscure shaman queen of Yamataikoku, an ancient country within the islands that would become Japan. According to early Chinese history, people in the country agreed to elect a woman for their ruler, so that she ascended to the throne, successfully uniting the country and ending the prior Emperors' eighty years of disturbances and warfare. Her skills in magic and sorcery were highly respected by her people. She is said to remain unmarried, living in a beautiful palace, surrounded by towers and stockades, where a thousand women and only one man served her as attendants, along with countless imperial guards watching on each corner of the palace. Her reign was strict and discipline, but peaceful. She is also mentioned to have a good connection with the Wei Kingdom. People of Yamataikoku took her death as a great loss, and they did not obey nor respected the new King's order, until one of her relative, a thirteen-year old girl was made Queen. History involving the early Japan does not mention her at all, but she is often considered a legendary figure. Nowadays, her existence is still debatable among scholars and is considered to be one of the most controversial debate of the ancient Japanese history.

Its name is taken from the folk hero Kintarō who wielded a tomahawk. As such, this is the reason the Persona wields a tomahawk missile.

Tomoe Gozen (巴御前, Gozen Tomoe) was a female samurai during the time of the Genpei War (1180-1185). After fighting in the Battle of Awazu, it is unclear what happened to her. Due to the number of stories of how her life went and the lack of proof of her existence, she has become a thing of legends.
